Since 2009, HCA East Florida has asserted its expertise establishing its trauma network in East Florida by providing 24 hours immediate coverage by onsite general surgeons and expert specialists in orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, anesthesiology, emergency medicine, radiology and critical care. From resuscitation to rehabilitation, the centers provide a comprehensive continuum of trauma care to the entire community. In 2015, HCA East Florida provided care to 6,384 trauma patients.

HCA East Florida Trauma Network:

Through our trauma centers we have partnered with one of the state's top medical schools to establish the University of South Florida/HCA Trauma Network. This partnership enables HCA East Florida to meet its goals for research, quality, safety and better outcomes for our patients. All Florida residents benefit from centralized, statewide data collection for trauma research and coordination of services not readily accessible in underserved areas of the state.
